For those arriving in Estonia by plane to Tallinn Airport (this is the most preferable way!) the organising committee provides with shuttle buses from the airport to the hotels in Tartu in following times:

Saturday, 15th September	departure at 18.00 (6 pm), arrival in Tartu approximately. at 20.00
Sunday, 16th September	departure at 12.00, NB! This(these) bus(es) will take the participants to the 3-hrs guided tour in Tallinn City (The Old Town, Toompea hill and Pirita will be visited), the bus(es) will arrive in Tartu approximately at 17.30. departure at 16.00 (goes directly to Tartu)

The price for shuttle buses including the Tallinn city tour on Sunday, 16th September is covered by the participation fee.

For those who cannot or do not like to use the shuttle buses the most optimal way is to take a bus from the Tallinn bus station. Taxi from the airport costs 8-10 Euro and the bus ticket to Tartu about 8 Euro. Taxis normally do not take the credit cards as well as the bus drivers. When buying the ticket in cashiers in the Tallinn bus station, you can pay by credit cards. The currency exchange is possible in the airport, there are also several cash machines available.
During the daytime, there are 2-3 buses an hour from Tallinn to Tartu. The time schedule is available from the webpage http://www.bussireisid.ee
